Founder, Chairman & Principal Operator
Calvin Jerome Johnson Jr. is the Founder and Chairman of We Do Logistics, We Move People, and Crisis Logistics Command — a Pacific-based portfolio of companies that has redefined logistics, federal contracting, and emergency response in the Hawaiian Islands and across the Pacific region.
A United States Navy veteran who entered service following the September 11, 2001 attacks, Calvin has carried the discipline of military service into every organization he has built. His professional credentials include two completions of the VIP Procurement School — one of the nation’s most respected federal acquisition training programs — and fifteen years of Pacific Rim operational experience spanning moving, logistics, warehousing, manpower deployment, and natural disaster response across the Hawaiian Islands.
Calvin is an active member of the American Logistics Association (ALA) — the premier organization connecting the logistics industry with the United States military — and is pursuing a formal speaking platform at the ALA’s Annual National Conference. He leads Crisis Logistics Command’s ongoing natural disaster deployments across the State of Hawaii, and is actively pursuing federal contracts in support of the U.S. Army’s Campus Dining Expansion to Hawaii and Alaska.
Calvin’s approach to leadership is straightforward: put the right people in the right positions, build relationships based on trust and performance, and never stop pursuing the mission. That philosophy has built a company trusted by government agencies, military families, commercial enterprises, and the communities of Hawaii.
